Walking Tour of Alicante

On a beautiful afternoon, after four hours of Spanish class, all I wanted to do was go exploring in this amazing city! So a friend and I grabbed our cameras and our sense of adventure, and set off on a two hour walk around the city. So many beautiful places in the city that I wanted to share. Warning, this post contains mostly pictures.

El Plaza de los Luceros is one block from my house and I walk through it everyday on my way to the bus.

The fountain at the Plaza de los Luceros.

Front of the Diputación Provincial, which I can see the back of from my window.

Los autobuses, I take number 24 twice a day.

The Marina.

Down by the marina.

Plaza Puerta del Mar.

Explanada de Espana.

La Playa! The water is the perfect temperature and the sand is wonderful.

How about El Castillo with your playa?

Houses in Santa Cruz, the old neighborhood.

More Santa Cruz.
